This has been my view for a long time. Our country has a lot of wide open space. Immigrants are a net good for society. Your ancestors were likely immigrants themselves and made a life in this country. These crackdowns are racist, pointless, and leave people dead.
BTW when I say abolish ICE, I mean abolish it entirely and replace it with exactly nothing. Give me your tired, your poor, your huddled masses yearning to breathe free. That's it.

It was in his waistband behind him, right? There's no way the ICE agents could have seen it unless he either disclosed it, or they knocked him to the ground first and then saw it and grabbed it (and then shot him).
Brandishing is a legal term that means to display all or part of a firearm, or otherwise make its presence known to another person to intimidate them, regardless of whether it's directly visible to that person. Given the video, that's not what Alex Pretti was doing when he was shot & killed.
Important context, this is the victim’s behavior BEFORE being tackled

Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him.
