there’s probably something better than river the intern cat walking into the office with a tiny foam soccer ball in her mouth, looking at me, seeing i’m busy, turning to leave, then when i say, “i have time to throw that for you,” she drops it & lets her mouth hang & then runs to fetch, but idk what
[sitting alone at the work desk in the windowless room eating loose impossible burger grounds and sour patch kids and slamming diet coke as i work through another powerpoint]

i used to make art but now i have a job so i can get health insurance!

Apple is bad in so many ways, especially for anti-competitive silliness but... its corporate culture demands a product that works perfectly for most consumers.

Apple not "being able to crack AI" is perhaps a signal of the fundamental problems with LLMs and hurdles ahead rather than Apple's failues
".. Apple’s AI .. technology remains years behind the competition’s.

".. 'This is a crisis,' says a senior member of Apple’s AI team. A different team member compares the effort to a foundering ship: 'It’s been sinking for a long time.'"

The social media content I’m craving this week.
You only hear ‘ulterior’ when it comes to motives.

If you read ‘lo’ you’re probably about to ‘behold’ something.

‘Echelon’ seems to only be at one level: the upper one.

If you’re confronted by ‘asunder,’ odds are it’s been ‘torn.’
