i’m in arizona so no northern lights for me but last week i went out to my car to find a chicken drumstick bone on my windshield, so we get plenty of mystery and wonder here.

I’m thinking about having Retro Remake host a PS1 homebrew game jam with cash prizes and free SuperStation one units.

i hate “they were dead the whole time” conspiracies but if they continue making Toy Story sequels I’m gonna start insisting everything after the third is a little matchstick girl in the incinerator

what an incredible self-own from novelist Anthony Horowitz that he thinks Bond’s death is an impediment to future films. just a casual admittance that he has less imagination than the worst X-Men writer.

how can you have an emergency order to not spend money. "quick we need relief from helping people" they really asked the supreme court, and the court was like "lol we got u"

my friend will still sometimes ask me to weigh in on their Poll of the Day, like it's 2001 and I need to make sure Resident Evil beats Halo in the popularity contest
I am not fucking joking when I say the English-speaking video game world would be nothing without GameFAQs. Everyone and their mom used it (literally, my mom and all her friends). If you played video games in the 2000s you probably knew GameFAQs in the same way most people know, like, Wikipedia
Hey, happy 30th birthday GameFAQs! Launched on November 5th, 1995!
The earliest scrape I can find on Wayback is December 1996, but I doubt the site changed much. But yes, here it is in its earliest days as the Video Game FAQ Archive!

this has been updated thru the end of 1993 now, nearly 900 tracks. you forget how many bands, even alternative bands in the 90s, charted from movie soundtracks (singles, coneheads) or tribute albums (i’m your fan, no alternative, sweet relief)
been slowly going thru old billboard magazines for the past few weeks and making a master playlist of every song that appeared on the "Modern Rock Charts", the chart for College Radio/Alternative Rock. It started in sep 1988, and i'm through the end of 1991 now.

hi! inspired by nora reed, a mini-manifesto to make "paper textiles" for wrapping small gifts, holiday cards or ornaments, or just looking at because they make you happy. minimal materials required, beginner & kids friendly, have a fun, relaxing time & make something special to you & loved ones.

i can't believe this, and so much other stuff, was on "hide" be default. "warn" is fine. i'm not going to dead dove do not eat every post.
If you aren't seeing skeets from some of your fave people, they might have been labeled "Rude" by bsky mods. Idk what they are thinking, I don't need a mommy to tell me who to be buddies with. Anyway, go into Settings > moderation > bluesky moderation (advanced) and turn Rude off.

Memories of seeing a ten-years-after Game Boy Color Gremlins game at E3 2001 and not being sure who it was for. It looked better than these games, though not by much.

If you are a homebrew developer of a GB, GBC, GBA, NES, SMS, MD/Genesis, N64, or PS1 game with a free version or a free demo of you game, I’d love to ship it with SuperStation as a physical or digital demo disk.
