hi i'm going issue a challenge for 2026! if you have $20+ that you can comfortably spare at some point, commission an artist to illustrate something for you. a calligraphy version of an inside joke. a caricature of a relative. your pet but as the king of spades idk. spot art for your website. &c &c
in general -- following developers you like is a great way to help continue to fund them. i LOVE crowdfunding as a way to preorder a game from someone whose work i love and whom i trust to deliver. (like five of my backs are just @hanakogames.bsky.social, the best crowdfunder in the game imo)

hard to be further left than me, and i love technology so much. OP (cait) didn't explicitly mention the leftism of science funding so i will do that haha. the tech i cover is like, professors from 5 universities colliding particles together over 3 months at CERN. funded by MANY publics
every leftist i know is very excited about technology but unfortunately they want tech that improves society and makes people's lives easier and that's harder for wealthy prdophiles to build a trillion dollar industry bubble around

i adopted my bonded pair of cats in 2018, and they are each other's best friend, snuggle buddy, and wrestling playmate. they're so funny and sweet, and mine were also littermates, so they have similar body language at times despite looking very different. love bonded pairs!!

This is super embarrassing for a writer because it's an admission that there are people in love with bridges and roller coasters who have a better imagination than you.

First she was using ChatGPT to write a screenplay so zero sympathy.
Second seeing the number of folks who get sucked down these delusional rabbit holes- like this AI psychosis and the Q Anon phenomenon- makes me afraid we all have this potential.
