I’m sorry but I still can’t get over the fact that the analyst Jean Leray was captured by Nazis in 1940 and knew it was time to become Goblin Wizardman & this is why the world contains sheaves

Born in Feodosia, Crimea, in 1817, Ivan Konstantinovich Aivazovsky was known for his dramatic seascapes, often featuring intense storms, turbulent oceans, and striking contrasts between light and shadow. His ability to depict the movement of the sea and the effect of light was highly praised.

My partner asked a pointed question about getting more climate activists and organizers to center accessibility in their work during an online seminar a couple years back, and the speaker redirected it into a question about the need to protect the vulnerable and disabled instead.
I’m not going to lie, leftists/liberals/labor organizers acting like they’re too cool for alt text is so common because they don’t think disabled people could possibly help.

Do they all think this way? Of course not. Do enough that it’s a safe bet? Oh yeah.

As is usual when a new Star Trek comes out I see 100 posts complaining about awful anti-woke haters, and exactly 0 posts from anti-woke haters complaining about Star Trek. I believe that they're real, but I never see them. I think some of y'all need to better curate your online experience!

Tube loves tube.
If you don’t see an animal right away, they may be resting in a fav. spot, like otter Harry enjoying a cozy nap in his tube. It's important that animals have choices of where they spend time.

If you can't see an animal - take a moment to look around, ask staff, or check back later.

Warning about Keurigs or K-cups: the internals of the machine sometimes become MAGNETS for bugs (warm, dark, and damp) and the coffee is generally notorious for being very bitter. Probably there are exceptions! Just general overview.

The kettle + french press only makes two cups at a time, which suits my household perfectly. If you would prefer a single cup at a time, or just want less investment, get a pourover funnel. Set it on your mug, put in a paper filter + grounds, add hot water. Very efficient.

A hot water kettle and a French press works for me. Minimal fuss, doesn't eat up counter space. Our coffee grinder broke so I usually try to go to a grocery store that has a coffee grinder machine, and then I'll pick out light roast whole beans to put through the grinder.
