I try to add image descriptions sometimes. Correct me if one is wrong. If you want zoo & aquarium pics/video, that's nearly 100% of my Media tab.

This is easily one of the most beautiful things any human has ever made. Possibly my favorite art object on this earth. Simple and yet so compelling.

> From the duo Rachel Gilbertson and Siobhan Horsley, this sculptural work really sums up what a crab-themed calendar should be about. Blending traditional crocheting techniques with a hardcore, shell-raising sensibility we've got zero notes on this incredible work of art.

Video: capybara ambles in towards the camera person, who is holding up an ear of corn. Slowly, the capybara sniffs, then samples the treat. A wiggle of their ears and then they chow down assertively on the corn.

Oof. I am learning right now that high-quality photos of Sandhill Cranes from directly behind are hard to find on Macaulay! So here's another plea from an illustrator, folks - upload your weird angles! So many gorgeous shots are from the side but I want behind, straight-on, every which way!

That delicate purple-blue and the flowers' little freckles are so cute.
Spotted sun orchids (Thelymitra ixioides) near the Genoa River, East Gippsland, VIC. Most spotted suns at this location have fewer smaller flowers than these more robust plants (which are a bit closer to the typical coastal forms growing around Mallacoota to the east). #Orchids #OzPlants #InTheField

I'm still not 100% certain that these photos of how cashews grow isn't the longest running, most elaborate Internet hoax yet invented.

It just looks wrong.

I’m sorry, but Partially Muscled Skeleton Screaming Before Vanishing Day is just a made-up holiday. Like Festivus. Unlike Circulatory System Walking Through the Kitchen Day, which is the real deal and has been celebrated for years.
Happy partially muscled skeleton screaming before vanishing day to all those who celebrate.

and considering we’re still firmly in a mass-disabling event, even if most people have been led to believe SARS-CoV-2 is both over and mild, the number of disabled people in every individual’s orbit is only going to increase unless we actually #StopTheSpread.
wearing a mask in, at the very least, public indoor spaces (grocery stores, pharmacies, transit, healthcare) is one of the most basic forms of allyship you can offer disabled people you’re forced share space with.
"my least woke opinion is---"

That's enough. We've had enough people indulging in the "thrill of a little conservatism", as a treat. Of considering reactionary thought to be a salacious and taboo in a world descending into reactionary mania.

Give me your MOST woke opinions. We're bringing it back.

Why can't you do it the normal way?

"Because it makes absolutely no sense to me, I can't orientate myself, but doing one simple change unlocks *all* of my other talents."
It's kinda like if you were born intuitively feeling like the A button should be on the right, X should be up, B down, etc. but life hands you an Xbox controller and everyone gets super weird the moment you ask about button remapping.
