Video: Tiny baby Texas horned lizard in their sandy-bottomed terrarium, wiggling its shovel-shaped head back and forth to submerge itself face-first in the sand. The miniscule hands are uninvolved, it's just the noggin doing the digging until the back feet can shove deeper.

Text: The Mangshan pit viper has a unique hunting method. It uses its tail as a lure to attract prey. The worm-like movement entices prey to get within striking distance. They never see it coming...

Video: four fossa pups clambering and slinking about the network of dry tree limbs in their enclosure. These leggy, long-tailed arboreal predators are the only fossa pups in the UK.
