crazy how much this bugs me now that someone pointed it out. if i worked at the white house, i would find this ugly, but not as annoying as i do now. ignorance is really bliss bc they more you learn, the more you just walk around thinking "collar gap" and "kerning is off."

I really don’t understand why it’s so hard for certain people to understand that Mamdani is doing so well because he is advocating for more than “keep Trump from taking the few good and/or semi-decent things that remain” and is articulating a real vision for how to make New York better.

Ich will niemandem die Laune verderben, aber wie sind wir eigentlich aus der Ära von “responsibility to protect” in ein Zeitalter geraten, in dem große Kriege (Ukraine, Gaza, Sudan) geführt werden, deren 100 tausende Opfer wahrscheinlich nie gesühnt werden?

Siehe oben und öfters: dass ein Parlament, dass die Partei eines Viertels der Bevölkerung ausschließt, ihre Präferenz ins Parlament einzubrinagen, nicht mehr demokratisch legitimiert ist.

„Zwangsbeitrag“ ist der zentrale Kampfbegriff einer Kampagne, die nichts anderes im Schilde führt, als den ÖRR abzuschaffen. Das weiß Wolfram Weimer natürlich - und verwendet diesen Begriff trotzdem oder gerade deshalb. Das macht ihn als Kulturstaatsminister untragbar.

I was walking down a street in New York and I thought how lovely it was, with the trees and the light. Tried to take a photo and this came out. It’s incredible how blind we become to the ugliness of cars. They really do mess things up. Yet somehow we manage to filter them out.
