It’s super-important folks understand how literally true this is. A huge part of the appeal of Republican fascism to the MAGAts who support them is precisely that it gives them blatant permission to be corrupt, to be their worst self.
That’s why the corruption doesn’t upset them, they aspire to it.
Corruption is the brand
NEW: Kristi Noem, while governor of South Dakota, supplemented her roughly $130,000 salary by secretly accepting $80,000 donated to a political nonprofit she was affiliated with, records show.

She never disclosed this income on federal ethics forms.

No such luck

Netanyahu has spent the better part of two decades trying to strong arm the United States into an unprovoked war against Iran and finally found a president stupid enough to do it for him. Unbelievable.

They are not going to mention in their headlines ofc but even @washingtonpost.com can't hide the numbers:

Something I’d note is that while there is criminal immunity for “official acts” for the president, no such immunity exists for the deputy chief of staff.
the takeaway from this is that, for all practical purposes, stephen miller is the acting president of the united states. trump is just play-acting as the boss, as he did on the Apprentice. (gift link)

It’s so much worse this time. It might not be clear if you don’t live in LA, but the supposed “riots” are tiny. They’re nothing like George Floyd in 2020. Protests are happening in a few blocks downtown and as resistance to specific ICE raids. This is 100% pretense for fascist subjugation.
