Trying to do right in a screwed up world. I cover protests and things. Bit of a miscreant. In my defense, I was left unsupervised. (she/her)

Did a Drag Story Hour defense in the morning, then off to the Arlington #TeslaTakedown.

You might be seeing a theme here. Much respect for the quick signwork. People are enraged by the illegal kidnapping of the Venezuelan president and his wife.

Been dealing with lots of family stuff these past couple of months.

I’ve still been protesting and, uh, wandering the scenic DC neighborhoods a couple times a week to take in that crisp winter air.

I just haven’t had time to post much of what I’m doing.

We’ll see if I can fix that going forward.

MDC will now be home to a leader who our country says is so dangerous they needed to be violently deposed.

The very same building also holds people that fled his regime who are being detained by ICE because we are not granting them asylum.

Candid answer - as someone who handled constituent affairs calls for years - while they’re not checking the phone right now, the urgency of the moment is important.

Show them you care enough to make the weekend call, and be counted that way. Staffers will clock and report this upstream.
Is there actually a benefit to leaving a VM now vs getting a staffer on Monday? Can do both but just curious

“No more coups, no more wars, Venezuela’s not yours!”
