“The “refrigerator mother” myth was used as a justification for taking children away from their parents and subjecting the kids to ever-harsher treatments…now the Trump administration is poised to start a new cycle in which moms are once again blamed for their kids’ autism.”

My latest.
Opinion | Once again, people are blaming mothers for their kids’ autism
"While the Trump administration seems obsessed with autism, they never actually talk about the kinds of things that would improve our lives," David M. Perry writes.

The right doesn’t need to know the identity of Kirk’s assassin to blame the left.

They kept blaming the left for the assassination attempt on Trump even after the shooter turned out to be someone who was mentally ill but registered Republican.

They’re just flatly asserting he was a leftist now.

The article has more than 40 sources. You can judge for yourself whether or not it's shallow or a hit piece.

super valuable breakdown of how ICE has built a propaganda arm and what goes into it:
The Border Patrol El Centro Sector employs five dedicated agents to make what are essentially ICE “fancams” for social media. But they’re not editing in CapCut like most people on TikTok 😳

One thing that’s important to remember is that there are going to be so many stories we don’t hear about. It’s like the women who have died because they were denied reproductive care in states that banned abortion. Many stories go untold. Reporters can only tell the stories they learn about.
Two stories today about different people wrongly thrown off Social Security, one marked dead, the other seems to be because he was born outside the U.S. on a U.S. military base.
