damn. wouldn't it be crazy if organic intelligence were to build systems of sufficient complexity that, at some critical bottleneck or regression of baseline stability and collective intelligence, resulted in a series of system crashes and cascades where aforementioned life couldn't stop the loop

Self-deportation is what the colonizationists wanted free black people to do in the 19th century. And white Americans tried to make life so difficult for free black people that they would choose to leave. But most free black people rejected that option because the US was their country, too.
