new S(ubstack)-Bahn post: I evaluate Japanese Railways' first years post-privatization and examine the conditions set prior to its launch to guarantee its success. But how does one grade such success -- and can JR be deemed as a success story?

so much of the political neuroses found not only in US but also across the world seems tied to, or directly originates from, the 1970s Oil Embargo
it's about oil (superstructure), not oil (base), to put it in marxo terms
The amount of “this is clearly about oil” posting across all platforms as story after story comes out where the oil industry is saying that the oil isn’t worth extracting is making me feel a little insane

“Go home G.I. Steam Machine and half like 3 are waiting for you. Your imperialist government has sent gamers to die, G.I. They do not care whether you have a GF. They will let you die in the jungle instead of an affordable home, G.I.”
