I go every time I'm in DC. Whenever I'm traveling to the US I make a point of trying to visit DC to see it (and @lissasaurus.bsky.social but lbr it's 60% NMAAHC.) It is one of the best museums in the world, in my opinion. Messing with it will hopefully bring a big storm upon their heads.
Literally every Black person who comes to DC visits the NMAAHC and it’s a big source of pride among a very broad swathe of people. Censoring the work there won’t be as frictionless as people imagine.

This might be the worst TL advice I've ever seen. The number one thing I tell students is to look everything up all the time. Look it up in monolingual dictionaries, bilingual dictionaries, corpora, thesauruses, whatever! The ability to question your own knowledge is the mark of a good translator.
