Hello, Bluesky! I'm probably best known for my work @ Naughty Dog, where I spent 21+ years helping make Uncharted, TLOU2, & Jak. Prior to that, I worked in feature/tv animation, including a certain RHCP video. Currently doing game narrative consulting, baking, walking my dog, & not sleeping enough
Just popped in here to say the Bohemian Rhapsody moment in @meredithgran.com's Perfect Tides: Station to Station is extremely clever & made me smile a lot. While I'm here, I'll also mention the writing in this game is exceptional & outshines many bigger, more expensive titles. Support indie devs!

the practical effect of arresting lemon et al is to spark widespread condemnation, especially since these arrests will certainly be thrown out. this doesn't mean the action isn't a dangerous escalation, it does mean the white house doesn't know what to do but spam its only attack

the arrest of journalists in minneapolis, including don lemon, is more evidence that the only move the administration knows how to make is to use force, and does not know how to respond when that force is met with defiance and indifference.

We've been celebrating partial victories for 14 months, but this is the first time the entire regime focused its power on one goal but was repelled by a powerful nonviolent force of organized people. I get shit is still bad, but damn how can someone not be inspired by this.
