I think my take on the insurance companies at this point is that they’re sin eaters for cost control in the healthcare space so on the one hand it’s unfair to demonize them in some ways but also their social role is to prevent other players from being demonized and this is what that looks like.

Went in to my CVS, which is huge, and everything is locked up because they only have one (!) person on register and one working the shelves. They don't want to pay workers and it's easy to get the media to play along with a fake crime story.
