If Michael Myers can do it...
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

I missed the detail that Mark Carney ditched the luxury tax on private jets, yachts, and vehicles over $100,000 in the budget, though I also can’t say I’m surprised.

Just watched Bernie Sanders on Maddow and in response to whether Schumer should step down from leadership, his answer was "Look Schumer is part of the Dem Establishment and if he steps down who will replace him?"
I mean... Bernie, WTF???? Take a damn stand.

Pretty much all affordability discourse could benefit from just posting this chart.
If you're in the better off America, all the luxury goods you want in excess are for the most part much cheaper. If you're in the poorer America, most of the shit you need to live/grow is more expensive.

The data center being built in Denver’s Globeville neighborhood is the most polluted zip code in America, one of the poorest areas in Denver. We are lucky to have local journos who reported on it, but the point stands that these are being built in communities that are least equipped to fight back.
There's a book to be written on the places these companies choose. Meta and Amazon are not investing tens of billions in North Louisiana because they respect the local population. Quite the opposite. And they prefer that there's no critical local journalism or anyone to write that book.
Microsoft and Google say data centers will create thousands of jobs in Chile, but an analysis of permit filings by @restofworld.org shows only a small number of potential positions — and most are not skilled IT jobs, but those in security and cleaning. restofworld.org/2025/data-ce...

I still take issue with "it's not center vs. left, it's don't fight vs. fight," because there are several things the center can't wait to not fight on, such as transgender rights.

Not one fucking dime from me for anyone running for office anywhere as a Democrat as long as Chuck Schumer is the party leader in the Senate.
