Min regel er at om bassisten ser ut som han spiller i et annet band enn resten av bandet, da er det et bra band.
Sustainable band lineups include four cool people (Ramones), four dorks (Weezer), or two cool people and two dorks (Cheap Trick). Unsustainable band lineups include one cool person and three dorks (Pixies)

This is how it works. Yes.
My philosophy on commas is that I do whatever my editor says. And if the editors disagree whoever had it last wins.

I feel like we have the opportunity to turn David Lynch's quote into this moment's "Keep Calm and Carry On" and it's a far better rallying cry too.

This is because Netflix has a specific list of approved digital cameras and a specific production pipeline that ends up making everything look extremely same-y. Nothing else looks like a Netflix show, but every Netflix show looks like a Netflix show.

Oh is woke back? Has it risen from the dead? Did the people rise like lions after slumber in unvanquishable number? Is the old world dying? Is the new world struggling to be born? Babe, wake up, now is the time of monsters.

Worth noting that Anna Nicole Smith has been in 3 films with an exploding helicopter while Al Pacino has been in none.

This is one thing giant movie studios can still do--the crazy big swing that costs a lot of money and is not tied to an algorithm or concern about "viewer retention rate at minute three"--that no other entity can. It is one reason the film ecosystem still needs them.
if you're a person who doesn't see the unalloyed good in Warner Bros spending $150 million on a loose Pynchon adaptation by Paul Thomas Anderson, we simply do not occupy the same reality
