Thoroughly enjoyed #MartySupreme. Outstanding performance by Timothee Chalamet in a film that takes viewers on an emotional journey not unlike all those ping pong balls we see flying back-and-forth throughout the movie.

I do think it's also funny that basically every department-wide email Bari Weiss sends, for the rest of time, will immediately leak.

Yep. That was when I got off the train as well. I only recently decided to start over and see if I can get thru the whole series, this time with my kid.
Easily the season premiere of Walking Dead where Negan kills several cast members in gruesome fashion. I knew it was coming from the comic and I was still nauseated and quit watching along with a while lot of other people.
What’s an episode of a TV show that was so bad it made you quit watching it altogether?

For me, it was this 2012 Doctor Who Christmas special, which contained the same tired “Doctor WHO?” joke no fewer than four times

Keep digging, Bari.
Bari Weiss just sent this Christmas Eve email to the CBS News staff about "building trust," which includes her tripling down on spiking the CECOT piece "to make sure it's comprehensive and fair."

One CBS staffer tells me: "She really has no idea how insulting she comes across."

there is one and only one political strategy, and that is: “hang trump like an anchor around the neck of every single elected republican and the party itself.” no ‘friends across the aisle.’ no ‘the fever will break.’ anyone not on board with that has to go. no exceptions

WHO GIVES A DAMN?

It’s a public service, right there in the name. It exists as a public good for all the people in this country. It’s not supposed to turn a profit, you dolts.

Go audit the Pentagon and see what kind of return on investment we’re getting there.

The USPS faces a tight squeeze. With fewer people using the mail, it’s lost more and more money: $9 billion in the 12 months ending in September alone.

Not understanding some of the upset over Chris Evans #Doomsday return, as if his presence amounts to some kind of repudiation of MCU developments post-Endgame. If anything, his interacting with the new characters will help cement them for the folks who may have tapped out.
