All right, BlueSky, it is Thanksgiving which means it's time to brave our sensory issues and touch sticky-ass cookie dough so we can bake tasty treats for our friends/loved ones. This entry, terrifyingly named Corn Cookies, comes by way of Joanne Fluke's Fudge Cupcake Murder.

lol, lmao even.
Boat strikes put US service members in legal jeopardy:

"Some junior officers have asked military lawyers, known as judge advocates general or JAGs, for written sign-off before taking part in strikes .... It does not appear that such memos were furnished, said one of the people."
Top Democrats demand details of spy agencies’ role in boat strikes
Democrats are demanding that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard share intelligence on lethal operations against alleged narcotics traffickers.

Many people are outraged that Trump is demolishing part of the White House. But of course Trump can't do it without help. It's ACECO LLC of Silver Spring MD ("full-service demolition") that is tearing down the People's House. You can call them and let them know how you feel. 1/

There’s a petition to name the site of the old the Hollywood Hawaiian Hotel Warren Zevon Square. Warren’s song, Desperados Under the Eaves, is one of the great odes to Los Angeles. Please sign the petition so we can make Zevon Square happen.

It's such a strange, revealing argument. Why should any of us give a shit about protecting people in Epstein's files? Why do they think we do? Since when is the most sacred tenet of society "privacy for relationships of the rich & powerful with the pedophile child trafficker"? Reveal them all.
GOP greatly overestimates the number of fucks GenX and younger give about Bill Clinton.

ok #booksky do your thing

When my dad was about 11, so somewhere around 1950 to 1952, he read a series of non-fiction books, probably aimed at children, about American Indian chiefs, which he loved tremendously but doesn't know much more about other than their subject matter.

Anybody got a lead?

In the days of lovely Twitter I often put out a call for help with research in writing my books. So here goes, Bluskiers.

I'm looking for a social worker (adoption/fostering preferably) and a probation officer who worked between 2008 and 2012, the more senior the better.

Please share :)
