Trump in a room with a very charismatic person results in like half a day of Trump agreeing with everything that person said, so this has the potential to be very, very funny.

everyone remembers what happened to Isabel Fall.
I think we lost some work because authors were afraid to show their weirdnesses, rough edges, to ask uncomfortable questions.
We can debate all day about who got cancelled and whether or not they deserved it, but one thing I have noticed is that a lot of queer YA written from ~2019-2022 has a kind of sterile after-school-special vibe where you can just tell they sanitized the fuck out of it to appease the Twitter hivemind

E.g. on point 1: the consultant class fondly remembers the "6 for '06" plan of moderate policy ideas Dems ran on in their successful 2006 midterm campaign. But what actually caused the bottom to fall out of GOP polling was the Mark Foley scandal in September which has been basically memory-holed
1. Scandal politics win elections pretty often.

2. THIS scandal divides the GOP more than affordability or really anything.

3. If Dems want to win the fight (pry the files loose, rather than give up after Trump says no) they need to make a referendum out of it. www.offmessage.net/p/force-a-re...

your basic idea is that an Indian Muslim whose father was expelled from Uganda for being Indian and whose maternal grandparents lived through the violence of the Partition, on the wrong side of the border, is predisposed to believe that countries have a right to maintain an ethnoreligious majority
No, it's antisemitic - the reason he gave was that he doesn't recognize the right of any country who treats groups preferentially to exist, but he recognizes many such nations. Take Pakistan (who his mom is accused of being an apologist for): officially Muslims, Christians can only practice (cont)

SEATTLE POLITICS: i made a mayoral election tracker.

TL;DR: can katie wilson overturn an 11,000 vote deficit? well she gained over 17,000 votes as the lower-turnout primary unfolded, so theoretically yeah probably. but if she doesn't reverse the trend tomorrow or Friday, she's probably hosed

People keep saying by 2028 the Democratic mood on Palestine will have shifted back to the right to some degree but it is important to remember that one of the highest polling frontrunners in November 2025 in every hypothetical poll, Buttigieg, has already vowed to recognize Palestine + restrict aid.
