it might seem surprising that the people who said “look, let trans people live their lives, but i have Reasonable Concerns about sports and toilets” aren’t up in arms about this, but what you have to remember is that those people who said that are liars who were lying

NEW: The commutation Trump issued to David Gentile wipes away all further fines & restitution.

Gentile had been sentenced to 7 years for his role in a $1.6B scheme that defrauded thousands of investors.

Prosecutors had been seeking $15.5M in forfeiture.

This was an actual nazi policy after the housing crisis Germany experienced during hyperinflation in the 1920-30s.

They targeted Jewish people claiming they controlled real estate and spread lies that Roma and Sinti people were "invading" and people with disabilities were a burden on the taxpayer

Fixing the real problems that slow teams down is hard. Much easier to say teams should use AI. And if teams arent faster, they arent using AI well.
A study by Dayforce shows 87% of executives use AI for work, compared to 57% of managers and just 27% of employees.

I think this explains the massive disconnect we see in how CEOs talk about AI versus everyone else. It also raises the question of how useful it truly is for frontline work?
Execs are embracing AI more than their employees are, new research suggests
Research from HR software company Dayforce suggests that executives are leaning into AI far more than their employees.

1. A landmark study was just published in The Journal of Pediatrics.

It found a 68% reduction in suicidality for trans youth getting HRT.

It also found only 7 of more than 400 stopped taking HRT... and of those that did, 4 still identified as gender-diverse.

Transgender care saves lives.
Study In The Journal Of Pediatrics Finds Trans Youth Care Lowers Suicidality, Few Detransition
The groundbreaking study found that suicidality dropped for transgender youth receiving hormone therapy by nearly 70%, with only 7 patients of 432 discontinuing treatment.

This investigation shows how much of a non-issue trans women in toilets is, yet the EHRC, government and the media are absolutely obsessed with the supposed problem. If only they put that much money and effort into tackling actual sexual assaults.

The TERFs think that they can “always tell”. But they can’t. These revised EHRC guidelines that The Times is leaking will affect far more cis women than trans women. What a ridiculous waste of public money the EHRC has become.
The EHRC’s definition of “woman” in its “interim guidance” is *gender* not “biological sex”.

It wants single-sex spaces policed by gender (ie appearance) not biology (chromosomes etc).

So it uses *gender* not the “commonsense” definition of “biological sex” the Supreme Court misjudgment mandated.

There is no difference in practice between removing rights of individuals and leaving the ECHR. The end outcome is still the same, people lose rights. If human rights are an obstacle to your policy it is not the rights which are the issue, it is your policy. Labour going full Reform at this stage.

If women are underrepresented in STEM, it's at least partly because men like this offer mentoring, then embarrass themselves by assuming their mentees must be into them, then decide the best solution is to cut ties, which sends the signal to other faculty that the mentee must not be good enough.

Not only that, the person leading the hate campaign—Randy Fine—is treated by the same media as a good faith expert on antisemitism. I wrote about this obscene double standard
Why is Mainstream Media Ignoring Overtly Racist Attacks on Mamdani from Congressional Republicans?
Non-stop Islamopbohic vitriol, threats of deportation, and virtually no coverage from CNN, NBC, CBS, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal or The Washington Post.
