Absolutely. It is so easy to just not write about a topic you are tangentially involved in as an opinion writer. This was intentional obfuscation and calls into question not just his judgment but also the opinion editor’s judgment.

Everything nowadays just triggers an insane disbelief in me, a shocked horror that what I’m viewing is no longer trolling, but the genuine article. Our grandmother told us to stop making a face or it would stick that way and here we are. Horribly disfigured as a society.

I think it will be hard for any democrat to really make me feel like they did enough to pursue justice after this, but I will measure every politician by how far they will go to get it from now on.
It’s crazy to think about the crimes we’re going to learn about after this regime ends.

I am not defending Landon’s relationship with Epstein. In fact, the NYT didn’t even try to defend it. He left the paper. What I’m saying is that a piece of investigative journalism that exposes a secret, criminal act such as statutory rape requires far more than what is in these emails.
