Hey @nytimes.com, you misspelled "unconscionable, evil, and insane."

Call it out. This was objectively bad.

Do you have to be a Catholic to be a saint? Asking for a president.

I gave my niece a set of puzzle books. Five books, probably ten pages each. All pages had a nine piece puzzle. Rookie mistake.

My brother swore he'd give them to my firstborn. Infertility FTW.
The most passive-aggressive thing I’ve ever done—probably in my whole life—was giving my sister’s kids glitter play-doh 😂
The best thing about Christmas is that it’s an opportunity for your family members with the worst judgment to make unsupervised purchasing decisions related to your kids. 🎄🗡️ 💣 🔪 🎄

Hey, I know it seems like a little thing, but you’ve made it to the darkest point. From here on there will be more light. It was hard, but you’ve made it this far. I’m proud of you.

I just looked up a slang term my co-worker used. I'm old.

Go that way, really fast. If something gets in your way, turn.

Solid advice, really.

If you think the United Healthcare CEO shooting, and not Sandy Hook, Uvalde, Stoneman Douglas, etc., was a "blinking-and-blaring warning signal," you are telling on yourself.
The brazen murder of a CEO in Midtown Manhattan—and the cheering reaction to his execution—amounts to a blinking-and-blaring warning signal for a society that has become already too inured to bloodshed, @adriennelaf.bsky.social writes. theatln.tc/ZRcsrreK

'Sexuality content is defined in the bill as “written instruction, presentation, image, or description of sexual concepts or gender ideology.”'

So no mentions or pictures of hetero cis moms and dads, right?

They never wrote articles like this when Kyle Rittenhouse murdered two people.

Remember that.

Really fascinating twist - the teacher's filing is arguing that her values that all children deserve to be loved, including LGBTQ+ children, is a "deeply rooted moral and RELIGIOUS belief."

She's arguing that her religious freedom was infringed upon, something those against LGBTQ+ equality argue.

One of my first dates was watching a movie at our house. I was 14. My parents insisted on being in the room. That movie? Spinal Tap. We made it about ten minutes before dying of embarrassment. All four of us.
Watched "Hustle & Flow" with my in-laws when I hadn't been married to their daughter for all that long. That was really something.
This question comes up a lot but I really think I beat the field by watching Summer of Sam with my mom

We've agreed that this will henceforth be known in popular discourse and technical literature as the Magic Carpet fallacy. It needs a name on an emergency basis because of the growing threat this specific fallacy poses in American political discourse.

It’s funny that we are all acknowledging that private health care is an absolute bureaucratic nightmare designed to limit treatment at the expense of patients’ lives and lots of people still believe that trans kids are just walking into medical facilities and getting treatment without question.
