Final results in the Louisiana #HD60 (Trump+13) special election:

Chasity Martinez (D)- 62%

We spent two hours on this today because I felt strongly that we must contextualize the DOJ attorney's meltdown this week with how DHS/ICE abuses those it detains and the DOJ utilizes legal processes to further abuse people who never should have been detained in the first place.

I think often of the women in the Louis CK story—how they all left comedy and never went back, but he’s still going. It’s everywhere and it’s such a loss for them and for us—for things they’ll never make that we’ll never see.
the Epstein files are really devastating because they remind me of how many girls and women miss out on professional opportunities, mentorship and careers because of how many powerful, rich and influential men only view girls and women — and interactions with them — through the lens of sex

It’s been reported Homan took bribery money when he was recorded by the FBI accepting a bag full of $50,000 in cash.

The New York Times not linking to anyone who’s been reporting this — and then pushing it — is quite annoying!

Also, my story is much more detailed and actually explains things going on, in addition to linking to three other reports from other outlets. www.lawdork.com/p/the-system...
"The system sucks," or what a federal lawyer's comments really tell us about the Trump admin
Julie Le's comments are shocking, but they are a problem of the Trump admin’s own making. And it goes way beyond one lawyer new to the Minnesota U.S. Attorney's Office.

- are enormous
- don’t know where they’re going
- have no plans or motivations
- don’t understand roads

They’re taking 700 out and leaving 2000 here, which is what they started with.

And if you’ll recall, that 2000 number was unprecedented as the largest “immigration” operation ever undertaken.

So we’re very much still in historic occupation territory, folks. Don’t let your guard down.

Also, a nationwide PACER search doesn't show any other cases in her name before these 2026 Minnesota habeas cases, and publicly available info suggests she practices primarily in workers' comp.
According to FOX 9, a Minneapolis federal judge demanded to know why DOJ is missing deadlines & AUSA Julie Le said, "The system sucks, this job sucks" & asked to be held in contempt so she could sleep.

PACER shows she got assigned to defend the govt in 88+ cases since Operation Metro Surge started.
