Pop science summarizes the literature as "Tetris completely prevents intrusive thoughts after a trauma" and it's not that clear-cut an effect, but it does greatly reduce the rate and severity of the later intrusive recall of an event, especially a visual exposure.

Oh dammit. I hadn't heard. Libby is the U.S. library sysem app for remotely checking out ebooks, etc. so it uses our tax dollars to function.
OverDrive is a for profit publishing-related distributor that is dominant in publishing. I would say we need to go after them with all of our rage for this.

I can't emphasize enough that they're doing this sort of thing because they desperately need people to adopt this garbage tech before the money people realize GenAI is not and can never be profitable, and pull the plug. Every bit of pushback brings us closer to that realization.
