The lawsuit he funded, filed by the two superstar lawyers he recruited on behalf of plaintiffs he found, led to (IMHO) the best, most well grounded and irrefutable legal opinion justifying marriage equality: Judge Vaughn Walker’s decision in the case ultimately known as “Hollingsworth v Perry.”

My terrorism class finished a section on jihadists and is now discussing white nationalists, and it occurred to me that in some states (Florida? Texas?) I might not be allowed to teach about the latter, since it mentions race, and doesn't balance it out with pro-white-nationalist-terrorism readings.

I’m genuinely, honestly surprised at the community’s restraint thus far in not fighting back.
With as many guns there are in this country, it’s a miracle that these awful events haven’t broken out into full combat. Yet.
It does seem like that’s what they’re going for though…
