I'm watching part of the beloved classic The Ant Man and the Wasp, and it's weird that when Hank shrinks down the huge building and rolls it away like luggage, there isn't water, electricity and all the other hookups going everywhere, right?

I need everybody to read this and understand what’s going on. These are spouses of US citizens in the country legally. They have entry clearance and green cards, they’ve passed background checks and have no criminal records. ICE is taking them anyway.

Whether this was random street crime or targeted political violence, I think it was bad for the president to unnecessarily put the National Guard in harm’s way like this. They simply don’t need to be there.

I don't follow or cover hockey anymore, but I do really miss this era of social media. So many great people. It's basically the only thing I miss about the old site.
One thing I've noticed about the post-pandemic version of Flyers Twitter is just how much less FUN it is.
Part of it, surely, is frustration about the continued mediocrity/badness of the team. But it goes beyond that. The funniest people are gone, & they haven't been replaced.

Looking back at this and it really makes me nostalgic for the 2014-2019ish era of hockey twitter. I didn't understand how much fun it was at the time. Rose-colored glasses and everything, but in hindsight it was all so goofy

Every Democrat in Congress should put out a video saying troops have an obligation to refuse unlawful orders. Make them prosecute all of you. This isn't a close call.

Now that I'm getting back into playing chess, I'm having a greater appreciation for modern technology. I can't imagine spending days looking at a move, thinking you had the perfect one, mailing your move, then weeks later getting a letter with the reply that you left your queen hanging.
