I purchased his biography of Dietrich Boenhoeffer when I was in college (baptised and raised ELCA) and was disappointed in so many ways as I realized - some time ago - that Metaxas is a whack job. I parted with that book soon after.

The Cleveland Orchestra mourns the passing of Music Director Laureate Christoph von Dohnányi, who led the Orchestra with distinction from September 1984 to August 2002. Dohnányi passed away on September 6 at the age of 95.
