Give me one good reason why Putin was given a red carpet reception with all the trimmings, yet Zelenskyy and European leaders aren’t even met by the President on arrival, let alone any trimmings.
You can’t, there isn’t one, Trump idolises Putin, everything he does is at Putin’s behest.
Traitor.

It's not the most important thing at the moment, but I'm so embarrassed for America. To have world leaders concern themselves with symbols of placation for an overgrown manchild. To have the leader of a country fighting for its life thinking about what he wears to the White House.

Something so gross about that US journalist commenting on Zelenskyy’s suit, something that made me so uncomfortable.

Children were murdered by Russia last night.

And the way they are treating Zelenskyy, it doesn’t feel right.

The painfully stupid and needy Donald is trying to spin all the European leaders coming with Zelensky as somehow an honor. It is an honor to Zelensky. And a disgrace for Trump. They are there because they thought Trump treated Zelensky shamefully last time. And they don't trust him.

"Are the six wars you've settled in the room with us right now?"
Trump's baffling response: "In the six wars that I've settled, I haven't had a ceasefire. We just got into negotiations."

"If we can do the ceasefire, great. If we don't do the ceasefire, because many other points we're given to us. Many, many points we're given. Great points."
Important: Friedrich Merz and Emmanuel Macron insist on a ceasefire in Ukraine.

Merz: "I can't imagine the next meeting will take place without a ceasefire. So let's work on that. Let's try to put pressure on Russia."

Macron: "To stop the killing as we discuss (a peace deal) is a necessity."

Consider how chilling this is…

Israel decided that killing the last remaining Al Jazeera journalists on the ground in Gaza

Was better for its international reputation than allowing them to document what’s about to unfold

Zelenskyy: I told my colleagues – POTUS and EU – that Putin has no intention of making peace; he wants to occupy our country. We all truly understand this. Putin will not be able to deceive anyone. We need continued pressure for sake of peace – through not only US sanctions, but also EU ones

Every day, politicians and the right wing media whip up hatred and fear of migrants. None of them say this is wrong. None of them make the positive case for immigration. None of them tell the truth.
And then, today, someone did speak out, and the sodding BBC sodding apologised for them.
I give up.
FFS! In the midst of the dog-whistling howls, Thought For The Day today was a welcome relief. Calling out Jenrick for his brazen xenophobia and urging people to hold on to their empathy and not to let fear become cruelty.
It’s intolerable that the BBC apologised for that rare moment of decency.

Trump: You know, grass has a lifetime like people have a lifetime, and the lifetime of this grass has long been gone. When you look at the parks where the grass is all tired, exhausted. We're going to redo the grass with the finest grasses. I know a lot about grass.

Is he on grass?

People often don’t believe me when I tell them that even the Sun & the Mail greeted an interview I conducted with Nigel Farage, at his request, by condemning the obvious racism he displayed. I remain amazed that other interviewers still struggle to expose him. I won’t get another chance.
This May 2014 editorial in The Sun about Nigel Farage said is not racist" to worry about the scale of immigration but it is "racist" to smear Romanians to say you wouldn't want to live next door to a Romanian & "you know the difference" [between a German and a Romanian neigbour]
