It’s actually not technically a leak. CBS News only operates in the US. A non-PSKY owned network Global TV has Canadian rights for 60 Minutes and aired it unedited since the call to pull the episode was made so late in the day. That broadcast was recorded and then shared across the internet.

If my daughter went there I'd never send her back to that school. Look at this statement. This guy needs to be fired and sued and someone needs to check his hard drive. If a 13 year old student tells you, an adult, that boys are sharing naked photos of you and you wave her off, you're the problem.

i've never worked on anything nearly as important as 60 minutes' CECOT story of course, but in recent years i sure have heard language a lot like that weiss is employing, from people in positions of power over me, who have used it to shut down good and valuable reporting.

there are, and have been, legitimate procedural and machine learning techs: they handle the work internally in a program/system, and aren't necessarily reliant on the mega-data infrastructures that genAI is infamous for, but slimeballs took up "AI" to lump it together to finesse billions away
If we’re going to get really no quarter about genAI usage, I’m going to need people to learn the difference between AI and genAI real fast.
