Let me get this straight.

The GOP eliminate the subsidies that made healthcare affordable for millions of Americans. Have reached the "Find Out" stage of #FAFO. And somehow it's the Dems fault that they are being held accountable?

Can someone make this make sense?

I am really confused why MAGA people are defending child rape, that was literally one of your key pillars (so you said) and you have zero backbone to even stand up for CHILDREN when your cult leader has been discovered to possibly be a child rapist? Entirely pathetic.
I'm as flabbergasted as Dean on this one. Unfuckingreal. First off, it's illegal but more than that, some children never get over such abuse. Some adults never get over it even with therapy. WTF is going on in this country?

Something I wish more people truly understood about LLMs, ChatGPT, and "A.I" chatbots of all stripes... they're just fancy auto-complete. They provide a "response" that is statistically likely to sound like a valid response. They do not search. Or research. Or introspect. Or think. At all.

The factional grifters will hate this, but the Mamdani-Spanberger-Sherrill axis actually suggests the outlines of a broad, emerging Dem coalition organized around both anti-Trump *and* affordability politics, not a party bitterly divided against itself.
These big wins will embolden Dems to take on Trump's lawbreaking and show there's a price for GOP enabling of him. Folks hate to hear this, but normal patterns are asserting themselves: Liberalism isn't dead, Rs are likely to lose in 2026, and Trump is really unpopular, not a magical exception.

In the 2010s, this country's elites were thrown onto social platforms with everyone else and could finally read what we all think about them and it caused them so much psychic damage that they decided to destroy both the internet and democracy to make sure nothing like it ever happened again.
If this is what it took for you to be pushed into fascism you were probably already there

This is horrifying
Republican staff at the DOJ are openly bragging about falsifying the Epstein files to protect child rapists and lie about Democrats

They’re doing it is because they know sooooo many press and big social media accounts will willingly go along with it to hurt Dems.

The Justice Department confirmed the video but said the staffer wasn't speaking based on knowledge from his job.

Crime has dramatically declined during every democratic administration since the cancellation of Mary Tyler Moore
No, Chuck, because that accepts Trump's framing and sets Democrats starting on their back foot and arguing something that isn't true.

Instead of saying "we want safe streets," you point out that we already have them, that this is a power grab and a test for grabbing more.

This is not difficult.

The American public elected a president and administration who whether they knew it or not was intent on dismantling the very things that made America the economic and cultural envy of the world. That is the story of Trump 2.0.

And thus *not* a national emergency, and so not within even a stretched understanding of Trump’s unilateral powers.
We are in new territory with Trump’s latest trade letter, threatening a 50% tariff on imports from Brazil starting Aug. 1
—The US runs a rare trade surplus with Brazil, so there’s no deficit to fix
—Trump says these duties are explicitly over political concerns, not economic ones
