Remember when the internet wasn't awful? We can go back to that.

Some friends and I have released the Resonant Computing Manifesto: a call to bring back such a time, to see if we can bring back a world where technology works for us, rather than against us.

Do early medieval historians look at stories about the late 15th century and go "pfft that's practically contemporary history". (I mean it pretty much is.)

“She showed up as scheduled, and when she arrived, officers were asking everyone what country they were from, and if they said a certain country, they were told to step out of line and that their oath ceremonies were canceled.”

A uniform 15 point shift in 2024 would have resulted in approximately 40 seats having different results and something like a 255D-180R split.
The AP has called VA-07 for Matt Van Epps, the Republican nominee.

He is leading by 6% as the count winds down (93% reporting, but all of Nashville in, so his lead likely expands a bit more).

The GOP won the district by 22% in 2024; certainly enough of a swing to provoke cold sweats among GOPers.

To give an example: There's already computers that write code based on specifications. We call them compilers and we've been using them since the 1950s. AI is, in some sense, a super-compiler in that the input is closer to natural language. *Closer*. You still need to know what to ask for.
