A country that had begun to make progress in believing women is regressing. In this environment, it becomes more and more difficult for victims to come forward, which means that the people committing crimes against them are going to get away with it. Again.

I can only reply to indirectly in quote post. That might be part of the communication problem. Also the “App doesn’t turn mentions and others into mostly hate”
No shock. This app has turned my mentions, and others, into mostly hate. But there are a few people worth connecting with

CRAZY how it's easier these days to have a real discussion on X, or threads, than on here.

"Pulling the Supreme Court back from the cliff is something progressives should view as far preferable to the alternative—where it may not just be the Court that gets pushed over the edge and into oblivion, but our entire constitutional (and democratic) order."

198. Progressive Judicial Institutionalism
There's important daylight between those who are critical of the present degree of judicial power in the United States in general and those who are critical of the current Supreme Court, specifically.

1. I agree with this take 2. This is far more optimistic than I'm used to seeing from The Bulwark and I'm down with it.

The crackdown isn’t going as planned. Courts are blocking schemes, cities are pushing back, and protesters are making life very uncomfortable for Trump’s enforcers.

That's what Trump's Cabinet Meeting reminded me of. A bunch of children wildly applauding him, all in an effort to bring him back to life.
