Be the change (municipal sidewalk plowing) you want to see in the world…

By clearing the sidewalks beyond your own home until the snowblower battery dies.

I got 5 other neighbors’ sidewalks done tonight bc the snow was so easy to work with!

Bluesky has felt sleepy for a while now. I want to encourage everyone to post more. Text is fine, but you know what? People enjoy damn near any picture of something neat. Food, your bike, a cat, whatever. Also, liking is nice, but reposting is what actually helps exposure.

Over on the Facebook, you can bet that whether it's ICE brutalizing immigrant toddlers, or the US military mass-murdering civilians in international waters, every person cheering it on makes sure that you know they are a "Christian" in their profile. Every. Single. One.

The USPS posting a NINE BILLION DOLLAR LOSS!!! sounds terrible. Certainly worse than if you said "USPS costs thirty dollars per person per year" even though that means the same thing and more accurately describes a government service

The baby gear has arrived, and rigorous safety testing has commenced. Initial data suggests the prototype passenger is "highly displeased" with the confinement system. Further trials required.

Even intersections where Right on Red is banned per the sign, drivers don't care. We need to #BanRightOnRed in Boston and #AutomateSafeStreetsMass statewide

Drivers will do whatever they want when there are no consequences and don't care that they risk all of our lives

A quick explainer on Montreal’s election:

The urbanist Projet Montréal party of outgoing mayor Valérie Plante has lost the election to the opposition Ensemble Montréal.

Projet deserves a *lot* of credit for Montreal’s transformation in the past 10 or 15 years to be more bike/pedestrian-friendly.

One reason I believe baseball is the best American sport, by some distance, is that it inspires such beautiful writing
Did not expect one of the best paragraphs I’d read about baseball would come from an Irish newspaper
