Not everyone has to be a socialist, but: what brought me from a disaffected, cynical liberalism in 2016 to joining DSA in 2017 was saying "my model of the world got this wrong. Was there anyone who saw this coming - and, if so, how? What did they see that I didn't?"
I think voters at large will very likely have trouble remembering details of chuck schumer selling out the aca by nov 2026. also I think in the next three months you're gonna see a lot of unlikely folks stopping by the dsa table at various no kings events

"Media literacy" is victim-blaming. They have a nine-figure media budget; I have a kid and a mortgage. It's more incumbent on me to realize they're lying than it is on them not to lie?

Any attempt to accurately and simply describe what goes in in TTRPGs will result in discovering someone's weird pet issues, but if you keep at it long enough, you'll also discover your own weird pet issues.

I think a number of press outlets badly want there to be a groundswell of anti-trans feeling, because the ownership/senior editorial of those papers have absolutely cooked their own brains on transphobia. It seems to be largely an elite psychosis!
