Had a dream there was discourse accusing an actor of pretending to be an actor just to win an award. People were debating the ethics of “stealing” the award from a “real” actor by winning it. I was so baffled I woke myself up.

I think the most hilarious outcome of "No Hegemon for a Decade" is the United States taking over again because none of the other countries that could take the throne are either incapable or unwilling to spend the blood and treasure necessary to preserve a global hegemon
They're also in the midst of an enormous private debt bubble, drastically falling popularity with the under-25 demo, and a contracting industrial economy.

Still infuriates me that crypto cranks got away with calling real money "fiat currency" for so long, as opposed to their digital currency, which can be willed into being by typing numbers into a spreadsheet.

My biggest holdup with settlement building in Bethesda games is that owning a home mortgage-free is the biggest fantasy I indulge in. Once the game gives me that, why would I keep playing? I did it. I won. The forces of darkness will take care of themselves, I'm sure.

If your first day back in office after the holiday is Monday, don't clear unread emails out of your inbox this weekend in order to "get a jump on things". Email filing is labor. If your supervisors didn't want you to deal with so many emails, they wouldn't CC you on so many things.
