We also had fully staffed departments.

Even if you think some of Mamdani’s policy ideas are ill-conceived dorm room stuff (which I do), the level of performative panic around him just seems bizzarely, irrationally detached from any sense of what an NYC mayor can actually DO unilaterally.

My favorite part about this evening’s game is watching the Mariners return to their primal, inept form, keeping Gilbert in two innings too long and swinging at baseball-shaped dog shit.
If they manage to pull one out of their ass and get into the World Series, the Dodgers will eat them alive.
