Yep at least 2 bus stops in my district this morning.
Something important to understand about ICE thugs in the Twin Cities is that they're harassing innocent kids and parents at bus stops and schools every single day. Even after the Pretti shooting. It's terrorism.

Do not back down, do not accept minor reforms, do not accept half measures. There is no reforming the vicious racist set of thugs that make up ICE. Tear it down and rebuild it in the image of INS.

One thing that irks me: people keep calling the folks on the streets in Minneapolis protestors. They are not generally there to protest, they are there to observe and document. This is the product of organizing and mutual aid. It is telling that these acts of citizenship are seen as protest!

I don't want my friends to become martyrs, but at this point it's clearly something we all need to prepare ourselves for.
It can be a hard pill to swallow but you have to accept that while you will prevail in this struggle, you may not be there to witness it.
Nonviolence is, in fact, working. This administration is weaker than it was a year ago. More and more of the public is becoming galvanized against it; its agents are being impeded.

This something I want people to understand. If you don’t get their names, they’re just gone. There’s no arrest record and the snatch-and-grabs can last seconds. People simply disappear and we can’t find out who they are or what happened to them.
They seem to be making a habit of it.

I know people keep saying this but it’s hard to communicate the depth of active resistance here. Like, I’m on random cafes and people are checking in for observation shifts. Signs everywhere. Folks in visibility vests on the corners. It’s wild. Absolutely wild.
