There are a lot of small businesses getting crushed by this. And it will have a long tail. Even if ICE packs up and leaves tomorrow it will probably a while for people to get comfortable going back out and going to their jobs. Then catching up on the things like rent, etc.

They were all over bus stops this morning and kidnapped 2 poeple in my city we know of. One at Perkins one at Walmart.

I'd like to see an explicitly private right of action for violations of civil rights by ICE and Border patrol. Minimum damages of $50K per violation (mirror to their bonuses) with an explicit recovery of legal costs if the plaintiff wins. Put that giant budget to good use.

Compromise: Create an explicit right to sue for civil rights violations by ICE. Minimum penslty of $50k (mirroring ICE bonus) for each violation. Full recovery of legal costs if you win. Put that $75B budget to work and tie them up in court.

Best way to help is find on the ground orgs that support immigrants and donate dash cams for them to distribute. Has been a huge help for observers here.

It will be under a temporary set of courts specially tasked with investigating these crimes with its own temporary appeals court. The bill must completely strip the regular appeals courts and supreme court of jurisdiction.

Bring the buckets full of water and accidently spill it on and around the ICE vehicles for extra entertainment. Also if some of those medicine syringes for kids some how ended up in the buckets and put water right in the door cracks when dumped would be a miracle from god.
