I dunno, if you've made a bonkers pledge to build a gazillion new homes despite a skills shortage, should this really be your priority?

If Bill Clinton's implicated, I'll simply have to burn my Bill Clinton shrine with all my Bill Clinton baseball caps and my Bill Clinton Bibles and my Bill Clinton t-shirts and my Bill Clinton playing cards and my Bill Clinton gold-plated coins and my Bill Clinton flags and my Bill Clinton shoes.

Everyone out for this tomorrow, yeah?

Bristol Patriots have now teamed up with UKIP, the Great British National Protest, Britain First, and something they're calling "Bristol United" (the hooligans have gone woke, lads) to attack refugees.

Let's show them what Bristol is about.

Ok the FT politics podcast, George Parker explains that the next director general of the BBC should be George Osborne, on account of he “took editing the [now basically defunct] Evening Standard quite seriously” and “would be harder for the Tory right to criticise”. Unbelievable scenes really

it's got to be kind of surreal, gathering in the white house SITUATION ROOM like you're in some kind of high-stakes political thriller but it's for crisis meetings on what to say about your boss paying for handjobs from underaged models in the 90s

The Pundits’ Party: people who might as well have been vat-grown in a lab in London; trained for a decade in the art of telling Times journos whatever they want to hear, and then hurled into the Rio De Janiero carnival without any immunisation shots. Little wonder they’ve got a bit of a sniffle now.

If your politics have become “We must do fascism-lite, or the fascists will win”, then the fascists have already won.
This is political blackmail dressed up as pragmatism. Justifying their nasty policies with “Reform will be worse”.

Amazing really: not only has the guy revoked all of the Brownie points various media figures earned by booting Prince Andrew, he has IMO embroiled the entire lobby set in another hilarious scandal that absolutely dwarfs that one, in the way that the sun is larger than the Earth.
As pointed out at the other place: it’s a wonder that with his busy schedule of deliberately wrecking his own party to media outlets choking to repeat every word at this point, Mandelson managed to find the time to meet Jeffrey Epstein again. But he seems to have managed it.

In Britain, this disaster opened with three months of the most intensely focused all-channels propaganda I’ve ever seen - and that’s saying something. The immediate aim was to ensure that anyone who spoke up against it understood that the consequences would be harsh and immediate.
