Went to bed thinking about it/woke up thinking about it. Anyway I actually thought this was a new film but turns out was released 2021. Still with a day to spare maybe my fave film of the year. On iPlayer too www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/epis...
Compartment No. 6
Finnish Laura’s long train journey to the frozen north is shared with coarse young Ljoha, and finding common ground seems impossible. Award-winning 'odd couple' drama set in 1990s Russia.

RIP Martin Parr. I worked with him once on a story about the NHS. I interviewed and he photographed Britain's busiest and least busy GP. I think he was brilliant and this is one of my favorites of his.

On the plus side, Nick Clegg's house in California looked terrific.

Am wondering if all of those suddenly deciding they’re against communities living “parallel lives” might reconsider their support of religious schools? Or indeed private ones?

Honestly I hate Jenrick more than Farage. Far more sinister because of the speed of his transformation from off-the-shelf Tory mediocrity into dead-eyed National Front race-baiter

There's a new thing. Called Track Record. Free. No adverts. No clickbait. Just decent writing about sport, music and stuff. I've written a bit about my part in bringing in the curse of VAR. And how home fans have just got to SHUT UP! Give it a go. 😉😀😡

I honestly believe everyone needs to stop and consider how far @suedehq.bsky.social have raised the bar for older bands in their second existence. Antidepressants is a 10/10, and so were their three albums before it. Suede sound like they're winding UP, not down. And you won't see a better live act.
