RIP Martin Parr. I worked with him once on a story about the NHS. I interviewed and he photographed Britain's busiest and least busy GP. I think he was brilliant and this is one of my favorites of his.

Spent a fascinating evening attending Jon Ronson: Psychopath Night at the Barbican in York. It was a brilliant evening with two special guests who gave amazing recounts about what had happened to them. I won't spoil by saying who they were but their very different experiences were incredible to hear

Had an extraordinary afternoon at the Theatre Royal watching Psychopath Night with @jonronson.bsky.social and guests. Featuring some mind-blowing true stories that had the audience gasping in disbelief. My reading list now has a few additions.

Thank you to everyone who recommended Final Destination. It was the most fun I've had in a cinema for AGES. Totally unpretentious, clever, gory fun, and quite short too. Like a horror movie from the 80s.
