‘We may be tempted to claim a “non-political” stance — therapy space as neutral, sacred, untouched. But as has been voiced before: neutrality is not an ethically valid position when fundamental human rights are under attack. Silence is not neutral. It is a form of complicity.’

Well, we can’t even try to claim like the German citizens we didn’t know what was going on. The list are becoming public. Whoever didn’t try to block this locally (mayors, city councils, zoning) is complicit.
We are deciding right now whether we want to be a country with ethnic cleansing and concentration camps.
The banality of evil is shocking. An ex-Big Lots warehouse for cheap consumer junk is bought by ICE to ship as many as 7,500 handcuffed human beings, as the Trump regime builds a U.S. gulag archipelago

This is the report I spoke of on #bbcaq just now - ministers tried to suppress it, were finally forced to release it after an FoI, but shamefully only published a redacted version. The first duty of Govt is to protect its citizens - that starts with being honest with us about scale of threat we face

⚠️ New research with HUGE data set (2.7 million): Autism rates are “more or less equal for men and women.”

Autistic females present differently than autistic males in childhood. As a result, females are often diagnosed later, so recorded rates are higher for male children but even out by adulthood.
Women have the same rates of autism as men – but get diagnosed less
A new study on autism prevalence in both genders suggests that ‘clinical biases contribute to under-recognition of women and girls’

Some really striking numbers in this new survey showing the flip in European public opinion about America.

But bear in mind this is only Western Europe. In Eastern Europe, it has been harder to take the blinders off peoples' eyes.

He really did it.

He really posted a video on Truth Social which depicted the Obamas as apes.

He's a vile racist.

There is no limit to his depravity.

The President of the United States of America is racist.

You should always listen to @heavyweight.bsky.social.

But you should especially listen to the new episode “Minneapolis, for obvious reasons.

One less obvious reason is that it contains a new musical genre (Yacht Rap) but that’s just a bonus really.

Please do listen.

This is how our government has been corrupted:

1) Donors give huge sums to elect politicians to office.
2) Elected officials rewrite the rules in the donors' favor.
3) Donors make a huge profit.
4) Repeat.

For the sake of democracy, we must get Big Money out of politics.

his net worth is $253.2 billion.
so he could take one million dollars, and just light it on fire
and then do it again tomorrow

and then do it every day for 693 years and 8 months

The tendering process for Palantir’s contracts with Uk gov. should now be scrutinised. Mandelson was obviously chosen because he represented their interests not ours when he was made UK 🇬🇧 ambassador. Before that appointment his lobbying company rep. Palantir . Labour were fully aware of this .
The Peter Mandelson scandal on the front pages of UK papers. For decades Mandelson has briefed, lobbied & spun his views to senior journalists undermining colleagues in his own party & advocating for corporate interests (who were paying him). Finally the dam has burst.
