In further developments I’m still listening to this a lot, but now it’s me going over to the stereo & putting it on, so I think that’s a sign I should buy a copy. Good pop music is good music.
Boxing Day developments - My partner took control of the stereo (and I mean actually fair play to her, she puts up with my rubbish all year long) and i might accidentally now be an Olivia Dean fan

A case of not judging a book by the cover. The artwork by Mati Klarwein (Bitches Brew/Live Evil) screams fusion but is infact total Hard Bop/Post Bop perfection. Recorded in ‘67 but not released til 1970 so predating both of those Davis albums by couple of years.

Just told my newly turned 2 year old off for felt tipping on the carpet , so she put on her Cinderella crown , high heels (on the wrong feet) zapped me with her wand and stomped off down the wooden floor hallway for all the street to hear.
