I really hope Americans get the picture, we really do live like the folk in dictatorships around the world, many the result of colonialism & neocolonialism with the US having had a hand in the demise of many. We do not live in an exceptional superior place called a democracy. Fascism is global.

It really is a hard pill to swallow but things just don't work out sometimes. It sucks. It's not a reflection of your ability or strategy. It's luck. I hate that it is but it is. I wouldn't have met the people I've met or worked on the projects I worked on if I didn't get lucky.
