If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to experience DV, this is it but on a nationwide level. The abuser lashes out and then claims that they didn’t do it and you feel as if you’re losing your mind…Meanwhile, cowards advise you to be obedient or to “just leave…”

Guys. You should come to IceCon this spring. It's my favourite time of year, when the sun never sets and the sky is pink and golden all night. I'll tell you where you can get the good happy hour prices and I'll bring Uggi and he'll give you kisses.

One of the shitty things about the racist and anti-lgbtq extremist direction of this administration (and all those like them) is people and corporations quit celebrating, or even supporting, marginalized people to avoid 'trouble.'

Fuck trouble. Fuck bigots.

The name "Popular Science" doesn't mean we shift our coverage depending on public opinion. It means we cover relevant subjects that are rigorously researched, reliable, and grounded in reality.

And trans lives are grounded in reality.

We see y'all. No matter what.

First-of-a-kind study shows encouraging data for trans kids who socially transition
Ninety-four percent of participants in a new study stood firm in their trans identity after five years, and "detransitioning" is rare.

My mum just said to me "You should be hung like a horse". When I challenged her over saying such a thing, it transpires she thought it was a punishment horses got. Turns out she's been incorrectly using the phrase since the 90s in various settings

A reminder: if you see someone shoplifting food, water, baby formula, diapers, tampons, etc. etc.

NO YOU FUCKING DIDN’T.
Millions going hungry is a national emergency, like hurricanes and earthquakes. Withholding life saving resources during these types of emergencies isn’t just a moral crime, but a legal one.

Why is this not the same? I would simply put out a flyer for a ‘grocery store take over’ party in Barstow.

I especially loved SGJ's words today about how horror can be just as timeless as other genres, and when he spoke about how whenever he makes his voice heard it's a form of resistance because, as a Blackfeet Native American, he's "not supposed to exist anymore" but he's still here 🙌

In light of this, I’m gonna try to fill the gap.
