This is a terrible take god like people with personality disorders aren’t evil monsters who need to be contained, have some compassion
Those of us w relatives or friends who have NPD or BPD have known this. Ppl w these disorders cannot live harmoniously in society. There are no limit to the damage they can cause. In this case, it's not just interpersonal - a family or workplace - it's the whole country.

I really don’t like how people are diagnosing these fascists with personality disorders instead of acknowledging that this is the type of personality that psychology never bothered to pathologize because it neatly fits into our society and upholds the status quo
What sticks out to me is how absolutely unafraid of prosecution this psychopath is. Part of it is narcissistic personality disorder, but it's mostly the perceived weakness of Democrats. Should they retake power, no one expects Democrats to hold anyone accountable.

I still think a lot about the fact that Gamergate did essentially win. Not that it made the culture significantly more misogynistic or anything, but it succeeded in making a lot of the people who played games eventually casually much more anti-intellectual and incurious.
