The actor Michael Sheen used all his money to start a fake debt collecting business, buy 900 people in Wales's debt, and excused it. If Musk bought ALL $194 billion in medical debt in the U.S. and excused it in the same way, he'd still be the world's riches man by hundreds of billions of dollars.

Zack is right and on the right message. 6th richest country in the world and libraries still closing down, potholed roads and all that. The physical decline of the country is marked. The money is *somewhere*. We face a coordination/hoarding problem not a lack of total wealth problem.
Do Labour MPs think they're gonna get away with doubling down?

Everyone is struggling. Meanwhile the super rich get richer.

No wonder they're spiralling. The alternative is here.

The OBR downgraded productivity by £16billion. It's not, 'made up' Zack. Have another read.

New taxes on remote gambling, dividends, a mansion tax on homes worth more than £2million.

450,000 children lifted out of poverty. £150 off energy bills next year.

Progressive choices. That's who we are.

‘Government sources said rules that mean most asylum seekers are not allowed to have jobs will not change.’ It’s absurd that the govt chooses to continue with a rule that puts asylum seekers in a situation of dependency, then attacks then for needing ‘handouts’ www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025...

It isn't 'illegal immigration' that's tearing the country apart. It's the over-reporting and over-hyping of illegal immigration that's tearing the country apart.

"See!"

▪️ If it's not an immigrant, but they're not white (or don't have a white British name)...
"See! Next generation of immigrants!"

▪️ If it's a white guy with a British name...
"See! See what these immigrants made good peaceful people do?!"

Apropos of nothing, I really do think UK journalists and politicians need some reminding that mass deportation of LEGAL immigrants, particularly those with permanent status, is far more extreme than even Trump's America and would basically place Britain completely on its own among democracies.

She is a moron and she will not be in power, but that is no consolation to people in the UK with settled status. This sort of thing produces a feeling of insecurity nevertheless.

Travelling through Austria: modern, clean and the people seem happy. Just saying it as I see it: the UK is a sh*thole compared to the rest of Europe! Sure, 6th biggest economy *blahblah* but look at difference in GDP per capita, look at the state of the infrastructure. It can be done!

@jonworth.eu Hello, question, I hope you know the answer. Travelling from UK station to Brussels with Eurostar, I buy a CIV ticket. Is there an equivalent from Dutch or Belgian station back to Brussels for the return journey? (Apart from the ‘any Belgian station’ option.) Thx!

Inevitably, all this will fail. People who voted for it will learn the hard way - and just like Brexit, they'll continue to blame everyone else
