Tout this widely. The biggest danger right now is, as @dandrezner.bsky.social said yesterday, pluralistic ignorance, when “people who hold a majority opinion are unaware that it is a majority opinion”. We need to broadcast all the signs that the town halls etc are not a fluke.

Masculinity is about having power over women. That's the only constant across time. Everything else — the personal habits, the aesthetics, the consumer preferences — is ever-shifting and internally contradictory.
... But by this point it is really clear that behaviour I consider to be petulant, irrational, whiny, self-pitying, and contemptible are by them viewed to be expressions of peak masculinity. I genuinely can't tell what is happening here, I am really not sure where the disconnect has arisen or why.
